We clearly need a striker who can score goals at the moment so what are people thoughts on Danny Ings?
He's young, can clearly find the back of the net in the premiership and he's not getting any league playing time at Liverpool - he's also way down their striking pecking order.
He could be a good option for a loan move in Jan?

No way. We need to stop going down the road of getting cast offs from other teams or taking a massive gamble on players out for ages with an injury.
It's far from easy but there must be a striker out there who can lead the line for us and find the back of the net regularly. Especially with Payet supplying the chances.

Would be a good signing, preferably loan with an option to buy. Mind you we should have signed his ex Burnley side kick Charlie Austen who is more prolific, but obviously not good enough for Sulli who preferred Zaza and the likes of Mido a few seasons ago.

Has Ings still got the legs for it? Even Zaza looks like he's treading water when he runs, don't think Ings will be an improvement, I want to see Sakho back and a full explanation on why one of our best strikers is not playing!

When did Ings last play ... has Klopp used him at all. I seem to recall he played when we won 3-0 at Anfield under Brendan Rodgers. Has he played since?

Only scored double figures twice ever and one season was in the championship

Willtell - it wasn't after one game. it was when he was scoring in their pre-season games that I thought he could be a good fit but wasn't sure if he'd get into their match day squads. He clearly isn't and we've had so much success form our strikers this season that we need someone ASAP.
